Attorney at Law Bakary Bérété is a member of the Guinean Bar Association (OAG) and a lawyer at the Court.
Bakary Bérété holds a Master's degree in Law from the Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry.
Bakary Bérété is also an alumni of various continuing legal education programs organized by the Guinean Bar Association and various African Bar Associations.

Bakary Bérété is a polyvalent lawyer with a great capacity to work with a good knowledge in the elaboration, negotiation, management and follow-up of commercial contracts as well as legal and judicial accompaniment in the mining field. He also has a perfect knowledge of real estate law, labour law and criminal law.
In the mining sector in particular, Bakary Bérété has developed over the years a fine specialization progressively acquired in the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Kankan through various mandates on behalf of various mining companies in Guinea including Ashanti Gold Company in Siguiri (SAG), the Société minière de Dinguiraye (SMD), SEMAFO in Kouroussa, Guiter Mining in Kérouané, in Banankoro, the Société minière de Boké (SMB) and its transport and logistics component, the Société de transport et de logistique(UMS).

The intellectual and professional flexibility of Bakary Bérété as well as his natural sense of human relations and friendship come as much from his training as a jurist and lawyer within several local legal structures located in various cities within the jurisdiction of the two Courts of Appeal of Conakry and Kankan as from his rare ability to adapt to various socio-professional environments. Indeed, after his university training, he was successively an assistant in the Bailiff's Office of Mr. Paul Lama from October to December 2002 in Conakry, then an associate in the law firm of Attorney at Law Issouf Camara from 2003-2005 in Conakry, then a trainee lawyer with Attorney at Law Mory Doumbouya from 2005-2008 in N'Zérékore and Attorney at Law Amadou Kourouma from 2008 in Kankan until he was sworn in as a lawyer in 2009. He will continue his collaboration with Attorney at Law Amadou Kourouma until 2013 before creating his own structure officiating mainly at the Court of Appeal of Kankan. Between 2016 and 2019, he is a partner with Attorney at Law Sékou Traoré in the Civil Professional Lawyers Society (SCPA) of the late Famoro Sydram Camara. Today, he is the managing partner of Sydram & Saliou Bah Avocats Associés, head of the Office of the firm in the jurisdiction of the Kankan Court of Appeal.

The professional collaboration with Me Bakary Bérété is enamelled with crisp anecdotes with miners, gold diggers, etc., reflecting, beyond his professional rigour, his ability to tactfully take on board the expectations of his clients from the outset.

Since December 2019, Attorney at Law Bakary Bérété is the focal point of the Guinean Bar Association before the Court of Appeal of Kankan.
