Attorney at Law Saliou Bah is a member of the Guinean Bar Association (OAG) and a lawyer at the Court. Since April 2020, Attorney at Law Saliou Bah is the Special Advisor to the President of the Guinean Bar Association in charge of the modernization of the Bar.He is mainly interested in private and public business law through the defense and accompaniment of individuals and companies in order to guarantee their security and make their activities prosper.

Saliou Bah has a PhD in Law, laureate of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He also holds an advanced degree in European Community Law and International Economic Law jointly awarded by the Universities of Lausanne, Geneva, Fribourg and Neuchâtel.

 

Saliou Bah obtained his law degree from Mohamed V University in Rabat, Morocco.

Saliou Bah has also been a guest researcher at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law. He is also certified in private international law by the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands.

​

Saliou Bah's stay in Switzerland was punctuated, among other experiences, by collaborations within several law firms, including Loroch and Elkaim Associés at the law firm Ming, Halpering, Burger and Inaudi.

​

Under a joint mandate from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the World Bank and UNDP, Mr. Saliou Bah has also worked for the United Nations system as an anti-corruption expert, responsible for analyzing and making recommendations on the policies and practices of asset declarations of public officials in 23 countries in West and Central Africa.

​

Saliou Bah is the author of several scientific publications in law.

​

Saliou Bah is multicultural and polyglot (French, English, Spanish, Poular, Sousou, Malinke, Wolof). He works in French, English and Spanish.

​

Saliou Bah's vocation for law was inspired by his father, the late Maître Abdoulaye Guimbo Bah, a magistrate from Télimélé, Guinea. His father was, among others, judge, president of the Court of Appeal, prosecutor, vice-president of the Special Court in charge of economic crimes and adviser to the constitutional chamber of the Supreme Court of Guinea.
